So, if you notice that list of vendors, you'll quickly realize Sarah Beth and I pretty much got to work with the dream team of the North Alabama wedding industry.  Creating something beautiful, southern, and "Alabama" really wasn't that much of a challenge for this group!  We were all pretty much on the same page from the start.  It was an amazing experience and we were THRILLED to be published in Southern Brides Magazine!!!!  Southern Bride's created a contest inspired by our home state.  Here is what we created, hope you enjoy!  Feel free to share your thoughts!

These bouquets were created using different flowers and foliage and most (not quite all) can be found growing throughout the different areas of Alabama.  We used seeded eucalyptus, hydrangeas, veronica, helleborus, privett berries, calla lilies, different varieties of fern, succulents, blue eryngium, dusty miller, and of course, blackberries!!

Of course, you can't have a southern brunch wedding with out a Bellini Bar!  Cheers!!
I can't tell ya'll how AMAZING Ashley's omelet bar was!  This was one of the cutest display (except for the biscuit making station) I've ever seen!!

Hog Wild Biscuit Bar!

So here was MY favorite part - creating the tablescape with flowers and foliage.  We used lots of pine and elaeagnus cut from my own yard and mixed with all the same flowers found in the bridal party bouquets.  We wanted to create something Southern and inviting that makes you want to stay a while!

And the cake ya'll... it was divine!!  If you've never had the pleasure of tasting (eating, devouring, and obsessing over) one of Michelle's cakes, then you are missing out.  And don't even get me started on her pies.   Seriously. Don't. Even

We had such a fun time creating this with our new friends!!  It was a great way to blow off some steam by relaxing with some friends, just getting to create as inspiration struck... and taking advantage of the Bellini Bar sure didn't hurt!!  Make sure to check out Seth's awesome videography!!
